Beatriz Hevia, whose full name is Beatriz Hevia Willer, hails from Osorno, Los Lagos region.
She attended the Universidad de Los Andes and earned a degree in law. During her time at the institution, the young politician became the head of the statutes commission of the student federation. Hevia also holds a diploma degree from Catholic University.
She ventured into the political world for the first time in 2017 when she took on the position of youth coordinator for José Antonio Kast’s presidential campaign.
The Republican party advisor kept working alongside Kast to create Acción Republicana after the elections. She was in charge of organizing the former lawmaker’s visits to various universities along with Ignacio Dülger.
The lawyer started serving as Deputy Harry Jürgensen’s legislative advisor soon after. She left the lower house in January 2021 and started working as a legislative adviser at the Ministry of Economy.
